This September Opentable, in partnership with Mastercard will run a campaign called ‘Dine Local‘ aimed at encouraging diners back into restaurants following the Covid-19 lockdown and are encouraging venues to get involved. The initiative will be UK wide and offer diners a wide range of incentives and offers exclusively for that month.

The campaign Opentable are introducing will be the first-ever month long promotion, which for diners, will follow on from the Eat Out to Help Out government campaign this August.

Opentable suggest a stunning 95%* of diners say supporting local restaurants is important to them. Why? Because they want local restaurants to survive. Equally heartening: more than half* of respondents indicated they are likely to dine out at least as often as before COVID-19.

Getting involved:

Entry to the campaign is pretty easy, just put together a special menu or offer to entice guests in. these can be current offers already running in-house which can be amplified through Opentable’s marketing.

In addition, Opentable will rebate 50% commission for all seated offer covers for the duratio of the campaign to help your business get back on track.
